Something more than cheese curds and fries ? :-)

The problem with the American Party system, and maybe other countries but I Don't Know, is that they are run by some kind of party officials instead of more publicly elected officials. I am a believer in the "wisdom of the crowds", the idea that large groups of people make better decisions than any individual. The stupid and uninformed tend to cancel each other out leaving the decision to the informed and thinking.

The Republican success has come from the grassroots where they can sway crowds and elections that are too small to cancel uninformed and are therefore susceptible to manipulation. The Democrats ignore the grassroots to get the organized groups. The little groups, under the influence of master manipulators, are able to sway decisions far beyond their numbers. The Democrats on the other hand are all and only about the numbers that can easily be counted by either side.
