sorry to having ruffled your feathers but I am a victim of H.S. civics as to what defines our 2- party system.. in a nutshell.. is like owning a Chevy when young with the aspirations of success, then owning a Buick. In other words, generally one gets more conservative as one gets older. so much for definitions, but I'll stick to realities of the day. Now.. I'll shut my yap.

I believe the reason is because a much larger proportion of their followers have a more dogmatic mindset that is far easier to corral. The Dems are much less organized and have a larger proportion of pragmatists. It's like herding cats. The Lincoln Project need to become the third wheel and bring some sense back to the 3-ring circus we have today......
