Didn't we already do that when we invented the 'banana republic'?

As I told Bentway, I don't want to invade anyone, but we were already in Afghanistan for 20 years. We were not invading it, we were defending the people from thugs.

So None I can think of, but if another Rwanda arose i might change my mind.

Bill Clinton said his biggest regret was not doing something about that.

I try to take an intellectual view of the entire world, and consider all the variable e.g. I do think we should have defended Europe and Great Briton and the Jews from Hitler long before we did.

Most of the people coming here as refugees are from Central America. How about using the Monroe Doctrine to invade and occupy that region of the world for the next 20 years? Maybe throw in Haiti, too. .
