When we visited Russia and meandered around Moscow & St Petersburg there were quite a few markings of front lines of the Russians vs Germans, 50 - 200 meters apart. There were also quite a few markings of noteworthy small unit action scenes. We watched a few documentaries of the various battles. Jack asked, “dada, why did napoleon and hitler invade Russia and thought they were going to win?” Good question.
