Cheryl--The report I heard on the NBC news stated that "unless a control tower could certify that it had been tested for the y2k problem and was compliant, that major airlines would refuse to fly into that airport, which would cause disruption across the country in the airline transport system." The FAA is aware that they have to do something now--time is running out. Jan
