What exactly is the product you take, a link would be helpful. Taking 50 1000 IU tablets a day doesn't sound appealing :)

Anyone taking 50K iu daily of D3 should also think of taking 200mcg (micrograms) of Vitamin K2/7 as an aid to helping the Ca++ make its way out of the circulatory softer tissues and into the bones. Secondly one needs to be very careful about the amount of Ca++ lCalcium) one supplements with. Getting one's Ca needs is best done through foods and not supplements.

I've been taking 10k units vit D each day for nearly 3 months now. I have noticed much improvement in my knee. A 5 mile walk is now not only possible twice a week but without consequences.
I will continue dosage and fingers crossed the next 3 months are similar results.
