Eric, you know I watch cooking shows on Sunday and Betamax NY Giants games to binge watch when the season is over, like every else does these days. Please don't spoil things for me.

P.S. Yes, I know you were were just messing with me, and the Giants are still unbeaten.

Finally, the pre-season is over and the regular season begins with a bang on Thursday when the Giants take on league rivals the WTFs. To get you amped up for the game, check out this quote from a former highly-regarded GM:
“They can’t evaluate their own players. They over-judge their own players. They’re not good. They’re not even good on D. Everybody thinks, ‘well, we’re good on defense,’ — they gave up 420 yards!”

As for the Giants offense: “There’s no imagination. ... I mean, there’s no design in the running game. The Clapper [Jason Garrett] refuses to design a run game, this is just not a misdemeanor. But look, the Giants have been bad for five years. They’re 28th in win percentage over the last five years, they’re 26th over the last 10 years. This isn’t just a one-time thing. ... It’s one of the worst offenses to watch, and you’re not helping the quarterback.”

Translation: There is no way an NFL team can suck for this long, ergo this will finally be the Giants year, ergo expect the Giants to destroy the WTFs on Thursday en route to a perfect season. I mean, how can you not come away pumped up after reading this?
