They don't just lose, they lose in the most painful of ways. And even when the division is finally up for grabs, they still lose. You've just described the Seattle Mariners for the past, oh, 19 seasons. They're doing the same thing again this year. They start a 3-game series against the Red Sox tomorrow night, whom they're currently 3 games behind in the chase for a wild card spot. I'm going to the first game, just to torture myself a bit further, I've been feeling too good about myself lately. BTW, tonight's movie at the drive-in where I park cars was Blade Runner. Not sure how familiar you are with it, but I would highly recommend you check it out if you have it in your genetic makeup to do so. :) I've heard of this Blade Runner film of which you write, though only in passing. Someone once told me there are several versions of the film. Any idea which version was shown at your drive-in?
