I am okay with Cathay's decision. I see that the government has its points, that if too many staff fired, social stability might go problematic, and affecting ... etc etc stuff outside of the purview / mandate of Cathay management unless they are made aware so a dialogue happens, leading to tweaking and tuning. Fundamentally, still comes down to a key premise set, that (i) vaccination works now, and (ii) does 'effectively' no longterm harm. and we are not sure about either, especially (ii).
