I bought at 6 1/4 in Jan 96, and thanks to the Good Dr.'s advice on stocks in general at SuperComm 96, I pulled the plug on AMTX at 24 1/8 on the phone in Hall C. To bad Supercomm was not a week earlier. 2nd buy of only 1000 at $10 in 7/96 held. Bought lot's more at 9 prior to N+I 97 in anticipation of more hype. Held it all until TI gave us spare change. So "Phooey is not the word I would use. I looked for an emerging technology I could sink my teeth into for many years, in DEC 95 I found it, and it had 3 players AMTX, WSTL, PAIR. By 1998 seems like everyone has come to dinner, as bandwidth has an insatiable appetite. My only regret is not selling the farm and buying WSTL, and Pair too in the 1st Q 1996. Trying to guesstimate the streets timing on ADSL stocks, is like running a red light, I was just damn lucky. Though I had no second thoughts about choosing the right Emerging Technology and Line Code in Jan 96 :^)). I stuck to my faith in ADSL & DMT, never wavering, no matter who gave me flack! But for right now I Just Want My DMT JW@KSC PS Yes I agree there will be other buying oppertunities to buy WSTL.
