I am not dispute the fact there is huge Java development industry. But where is the product? 3 years is awful long time in the computer industry. You can NOT live on investment seed money forever.

Look at oracle's new application. It run on JAVA only. There is no other backup plan.

I hope your crystal ball work out for you. I threw out mine long time ago. But I can wait two years to see the result.

Tell me one thing: why ORCL is not number one in application now? I assume you are ORCL investor. Don't you love to see ORCL using the DB position to capture application just like MSFT using its' OS to knock out its OFFICE competitors?

My Borland example showed that to convert a company based on untested idea is a risky business even if it is a good idea. You suppose to tip your toe into water first.
