Andy - Re: "Could you tell me how many fabs intel has, how many are running 0.25 micron, and when the rest are scheduled to convert?"

Intel is running 0.25 micron production in three fabs - D2 (CPUs + 0.25 micron Flash Development), Fab 11 (Rio Rancho, NM) and Ocatello, AZ). I think they are also running 0.25 micron in the D1B development fab - but mostly 0.18 micron is being developed there.

Intel's current Fabs include:

D1B - Ronler Acres, Or
D2 - Santa Clara, CA
Fab 5 - Aloha, Or
Fab 6 - Chandler, AZ
Fab 7 - Rio Rancho, NM
Fab 8 - Jerusalem
Fab 9 - Rio Rancho, NM
Fab 10 - Leixlip, Ireland
Fab 11 - Rio Rancho, NM
Fab 12 - Ocatello, AZ
Fab 15 - ALoha (?),Or

Fab 16 - Construction Suspended
Fab 14 - Leixlip, IRE - Completion in H298
Fab 18 - Kiriat Gat, Israel - Completion in H298
