SPX - Price is approaching the top line of the 1.5 year channel. I don't expect an upside breakout now, as the channel width is 516 points, and that breakout target would be around 5265, a mismatch with the longstanding 5,037 target. What's more likely here, is a pause, and a slow and gentle retrace attempt back down to the midline, with a subsequent rally topping at 5,037 next April as it touches the top line for the final time.
