If everything had stayed on target it would have been more accurate.

Perhaps Maxwell would like to update? There was a slower installation rate than initially expected and now we need to skim through the Asia situtation. I think pushing the year's back one might be a more accurate example?

Cymer said service/parts will be approx. 15% of 1998 revenue where it was 9% of last year's or last Q's.

Aloha

Denis,
That's what I'm TALKING ABOUT! You are my hero! That is exactly the type of information we need to even begin to do a fair analysis of where this stock will be several years from now. The beauty of the picture you just painted is that if things progress in that manner going forward, CYMI's profits will be even higher because the gross margins on spares and service are much higher then total systems. It's just like a car but the beauty here is that cymi has a monopoly on this market. And Curly was correct in stating the importance of enabling technologies in the semiconductor industry. PEOPLE, please wake up, this company is for real and it is a long term play with huge financial rewards for those who are patient. I wish somebody was able to E-MAIL Denis's post to all the (rocket scientist)analyst that cover this stock! Those analyst do not understand this industry or this stock for that matter, and the price gyrations over the last several months are a clear indication of that. Personally, I think Curly has given a very fair breakout of his earnings expectations of CYMI and YOU ALL should start paying attention! In the meantime, I want to personally thank Denis for enlightening all of us with the previous post! Enjoy the ride and quit complaining about the daily trends, this stock is an easy 10 bagger! Good luck to all!

Lex

P.S. I do hope it goes down so I can buy some more!
