Re: Young Folk Portfolio ... Adjustment.

Today I replaced ARKX with UNH. I don't report on the employer retirement plan, only the taxable account and Roth. The rollover Ira from employment is where ETF's will be held, not in the public portfolios.

I have been looking to shore up healthcare as the last monthly update showed only ABT, SYK, ANTM and JNJ in this sector. Last week I added ABBV, AMGN and STE and today I added UNH.

These moves were all made in the Young Folk Portfolio.

Breakdown: Total Healthcare Holdings

ABBV .. ABT .. AMGN .. ANTM .. JNJ ..STE .. SYK .. UNH

This represents 7.8% of the portfolio value. Now that I have what I wish to own in this sector, I can start building these positions up in size as we go along.

Combined they have a 100% "Likely Safe" rating with an average "Very Safe" 85 dividend safety rating according to Simply Safe Dividends.

These companies combined have a 2.05% yield + 9.20% 5 year dividend growth rate = a Chowder Number of 11.25.

UNH has a 99 Very Safe dividend rating, a 1.41% yield, the latest dividend increase announcement was listed at 16%, the 5 year dividend growth rate is 21% and UNH has a Chowder Number of 17.41 which would indicate a Very Fast dividend growth rating.

UNH has also outperformed the market in various time frames, here are just a couple.

5 Year:

UNH ... +217.9%
S&P .... +121.2%

10 Year:

UNH ... +902.8%
S&P .... +356.7%
