<<is less explicable>>

Why am I not surprised? We seem to be going through a low period. The government can't really be trusted that much these days sadly. No point complaining though.

Back to an earlier post. Ref Islands, mutinies’ etc.

Although it was pointed out to me Wikipedia has a section in it that says La Palma is not at risk of the side of the Island falling into the sea, I would just like to have a backup method of checking over the next few months that everything is good per Wikipedia entry. A method that also short circuits the press and hopefully the government too.

If you go to the Island of La Palma itself, lots of eyes are upon it, and communications will not necessarily work at important points in time. So I have looked at the nearby Island of Tenerife .

This hotel has a nice webcam. La Palma is just under 120km away on a bearing of the slightly bigger palm tree on the RHS

I am making it a point to check all the beach umbrella’s are upright and an orderly rectangle as normal. Any scattering will indicate the ocean has messages on it's way.

Been looking around at the Islands on Google Maps, including nearby Madeira too. They look wonderful places to visit if I ever go sailing out that way.

The Webcam has the Island of La Gomora dead ahead when the visibility is good.
