It's the 13 Colonies versus the Native Americans..It's "God gave us this land, and it's time to remove the squatters." This shit has been going on for 4 or 5 decades. I'm surprised that that farmer's land hasn't been seized. Maybe they're waiting for him to die. It's gotten a lot worse under Netanyahu, who thinks Jews are entitled to Judea and Sumaria.. Pretty much every US administration has paid lip service to "no more settlements", but hasn't done anything to stop them. Trump, OTH, supported them.
