Dan,

As long as you play your editing back and forth between the composition and edit before you actually post publicly, your statements/corrections will be invisible. Once you publish it on the thread the 15 minute window starts ticking for edits and all changes will be evident by someone reading your post more than once within that time.

I've also found that if you go up to your menu bar and click window and then history, you will see if you had edited your post after you had hit the publish button. That little link seems to bypass the 15 minute window. I've re-edited posts I had submitted a couple hours later if I haven't removed that link from my history cache. Somtimes doing a faux edit after you hit publish is a good idea as that keeps the link in your history just in case you want to change your mind. Sneaky, eh?

Onward,

George
