Actually that Intel chip was running at 3OO mhz with a cooling device.

techweb.com;

(Longest link in history!)

On the other hand, IBM can get its .35 micron chips to run at 1Gh with NO cooling: techweb.com

Seen the new Apple ad with the snail recently?

Kevin

PS For some reason the first link didn't work. To find the article, go to techweb.com and search for "Intel and cooling." It's titled "The Refridgerator Under the Table."
