How can there be only 552k homeless? We just let in a million people across the border, they are all homeless.

You have to be careful how the government counts things. When they count people living below the poverty line, they don’t count the $30K to $50 k the government is already giving them , after all they would be below the poverty line, so let’s count them. How many homeless counted are in section 8 housing and would be homeless if not for the largess of the government, and how many homeless could get assistance to not be homeless, but prefer to be homeless?
