"Or else they will defeat her in the next primary!"
I said that; "Or else they will primary her with a progressive, and the seat becomes Republican again?"

"I know how you hate Bernie and the Squad"
Guess who will get the blame if the bi-partisan bill doesn't pass in the House tomorrow, or whenever. The next morning, Mitch will on TV be saying, "Pelosi just killed a bi-partisan infrastructure bill which I voted for, proving that we really don't need to spend money for her radical socialist agenda." Next year, every R running against one of them will campaign on, "We could have fixed this bridge, but radical socialists Pelosi and (insert name here) voted against it.

=
"so I expect you are basically fine with her positions!?"
What am I OK with? Anything. If infrastructure is the only bill which passes, I'll vote for the Dems next year. If a $?T reconciliation bill passes, so much the better. If something gets left out, I don't care. I'm not into killing the entire bill just because she doesn't want to negotiate drug prices. However, if nothing passes before next Nov. because the progressives killed the infrastructure bill, I'll stop voting for Dems.
