TUSTIN, Calif. -(Dow Jones)- Sprint Corp. said Thursday it agreed to
use PairGain Technologies Inc.'s PG-Flex small subscriber-carrier system
to meet demand by residential and business customers for additional
phone lines, such as for computer modems and fax machines.
Terms weren't disclosed.
PairGain Technologies (PAIR) said Sprint's (FON) local
telecommunications division will use its carrier system throughout their
network nationwide.
PairGain Technologies makes and markets high-speed digital subscriber
lines and other digital telecom products.
