Mick, We Now Know Why Biden Was in a Hurry to Exit Afghanistan This isn't news. Trump was the same way when he wanted out of Afghanistan. He got tired of the story that the generals were feeding him, and he didn't want to keep risking American lives on a mission that was clearly going nowhere after 15 years. The problem was that Biden did it in the most cowardly way possible. He first extended out the deadline from the original Trump withdrawal plan to September 11th for no other plausible reason than politics. Although the article surmised that Biden had no reason to continue listening to his generals, he obviously listened to them when he flat out declared that it won't be like Saigon. Then when things turned out exactly like Saigon, what does Biden do? Turn around and grab his ankles for the Taliban. The new deadline of August 31st was completely set by the enemy, and Biden takes that as his cue to GTFO with his tail between his legs. Yes, Biden made the right decision in getting the F out of A*ghanistan. But he did it in the worst way possible. Tenchusatsu
