If Biden put up a $500 billion plan, Manchin would have wanted $250 and Biden knows this. He's another worthless idiot who thinks it's all about him. The $3.5 was never going to happen so that's why Biden went high. If he gets $1.9-$2 trillion on top of the other $1.2 trillion it'd be amazing. But, getting Pelosi and Schumer to do their jobs is nearly impossible. They need their nap time, followed by vacations and then some "pause" time from Manchin. How about this? Work until the job is done, THEN go on vacation. After Oct 1st they're supposed to be writing the next budget but they can't even do this continuing resolution. Replace them with the Squad and watch how fast things get done.
