The last thing I read is they're less than $1 trillion apart so we're looking at a huge bill, most likely closer to $3 than $2 trillion, but anything over $1 is a big win for our side. We can run on it for the next year and a half and what does the gop have? The latest generic control of Congress poll puts Dems up 4%. We need 8% or it'll be a bloodbath. Dems are leading in all the polls after August 18 so all this mess with Afghanistan and the budget isn't hurting us. I think Americans like watching the fight and want to see which side wins.
