Some beg to differ with that fact-checker site about the efficacy of Ivermectin, including me. How many of these people have actually treated covid successfully? I personally had the experience of taking some "horse paste" to my wife's doctor in a driving rainstorm about 9:30 PM on Christmas Eve since it was not available from pharmacies at that hour and all were closed on Christmas Day. I had overheard my wife's conversation with him in which he told her he had contracted covid, was self-isolating at home, self-administering oxygen, had a 103 degree fever and had difficulty breathing. Within 48 hours he was much better and has now successfully treated >100 covid patients (without a single death) with Ivermectin and other supplements (outpatient only). He currently has ~20 new patients under his care because word of mouth regarding his success has spread in the community. He credits me with possibly saving his life and others but I credit God for convicting me to take my "horse paste" to him. The FDA/NIH/CDC have the blood of hundreds of thousands on their hands because they stopped all investigations of repurposed drugs for covid treatment in April 2020 once Warp Speed was underway. In the interim between then and first availability of the innoculations (it's NOT a vaccine per Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of mRNA), the official CDC standard of care was: If diagnosed with early covid symptoms, send the patient home, self-isolate, take tylenol or aspirin and come back to us if symptoms become more severe. Of course this allowed the virus to incubate, multiply and progress which resulted in many being re-admitted to hospital ICUs and in the most severe cases, put on ventilators (with a high percentage of those terminating in death). Sending covid patients home with no effective treatment protocol was EXACTLY the wrong thing to do because early treatment is the key to successfully treating covid, the earlier the better. It doesn't take a 3 year randomized clinical trial to see the efficacy of Ivermectin (and BTW hydroxychloroquine) in countries like India, Peru, Mexico, Zimbabwe, etc. It takes a little common sense without bias or greed. Unfortunately that is woefully lacking in the MSM, Big Pharma and our 3 letter agencies tasked with keeping the nation's health.
