I have been having that God discussion with someone who regularly posts on this thread that claims to enjoy conflict... He is very bright.. one of the brightest I have met on Si... but he too simply believes... Our discussion led me to (a topic that has vexed me for most of my life) to conclude that I am now atheist in the Judaeo concept of God... That did not sit well ... Not to say I do not believe that there is no God... just not that one... To take it on faith and claim to believe in science is the biggest contradiction I can think of... EDIT: OTOH... The chap in question in my case is certainly not one to be dismissed out of hand on most other topics.. do so at your own peril.. faith is complicated..
