A captive bolt gun probably is about as quick as it goes and probably painless if used correctly. The family farms do this better than industrial one - which is why seek that source of meat out. Everyone can always do better. I am not of the "organized nervous system" camp for "fetuses don't know" claims. Abortion is not birth control - it is failed contraception. Until we have full reproductive control - abortion is needed and RU-486 is the captive bolt of contraception. There are people that don't like "morning after" pills - that is about as non-invasive as it gets. People have to choose their own flavor of inconsistent logic. Single issue voters end up being duped because of their sentimentality - now how about some more of those chicken wings from the factory farm?
