Intel is up $17/share since 12/31/97, and it's been up 10 of the last 12 sessions. I was excited by seeing it at $90 today, and was disappointed to see it close at a loss, but given the performance, some plain, old fashion profit taking has to be expected. When the stock hit $90, it probably triggered a ton of good-till-cancelled stop orders that once activated remain active even if the stock subsequently falls back below $90.
