On the bright side, I think a lot of Democrats will think twice before they vote for another moderate. And that would be really dumb and short-sighted. It would elect a Republican congress. There is a big difference between having a Republican Congress v. a Democratic Congress. Even a Democratic Congress that includes "moderates". BTW, on another note and replying to an earlier post from you -- you can cite all the polls you want but unless we know the questions that were asked and how the poll was conducted and scored, we don't know anything. We also don't know anything from any single poll or even two polls. That is why RCP gives an average of polls conducted by different organizations, as does 538 which also rates polls and discards some of them for bias or as being outliers.

On the bright side, I think a lot of Democrats will think twice before they vote for another moderate. Be careful of projection and overconfidence especially in a midterm. How many times...? The corollary to confident wistfulness is that lot of small government and religious Democrats will think twice before voting for lefty's again. Across demographics, but especially Latinx. Along with ALL the House seats, the next general Georgia Senate election (Warnock in 2022) will be instructive and CRITICAL to such assumptions. I am always optimistic until I talk to people in states like AZ or NV, FL and TX etc. OMG its an alternate universe. Having said that, personally I'm gonna support Governor Beto in TX, Senators Warnock in GA and Mark Kelly in AZ. The biggest issue that favors Democrats is the attack on women's health care choice and the more repressive the Republicans get the more women will turn out in every state.
