I talked to Megan O'Shea over at CVUS' PR group. Naturally, she hasn't heard of any acquisition, but not like she would ever know until CVUS would go public with it. But, she did say that CVUS looked around for partners for the auction, spoke with a number of parties, but didn't feel like they would gain much from any of the deals on the table. So, apparently working out the deals so that both parties would be satisfied was the major hurdle. Likewise, she did say that they didn't have enough money to go into the auction alone, hence by not finding partners, they had to withdrawal. She did ad that CVUS management is "very happy with their NY license." That was the extent of our conversation.
