Here's the complete release (Valence is mentioned at the very end as part of the disclaimer that SRSs pending acquisition of VLNC could have an effect on the results......) -

(I think it's VERY INTERESTING that SRS would mix up Valence Tech with VIP Tech. Valence is obviously on someone's minds and has been mentioned before, whether it's a buyout or JV or whatever.)

While I normally wouldn't take such a typo as good news, I'll take anything that leads some positive speculation in VLNC right now, against the backdrop of gloom and doom that we've experienced lately....

SRS Labs to be Featured on Technology Radio Talk Show, 'Into Tomorrow,' On February 8,
1998

PR Newswire, Thursday, February 05, 1998 at 13:03

SANTA ANA, Calif., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- SRS Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ:SRSL),
the world's leading licenser of audio enhancement technologies, announced
today that SRS President Steve Sedmak and SRS Corporate Spokesperson Jennifer
Drescher have been selected as featured guests on Into Tomorrow, a live radio
network program covering the latest in consumer electronics and technology.
Sedmak and Drescher will represent SRS Labs on this week's show entitled Home
Theater and Audio, which will air live on Sunday, February 8th from 2:00 to
4:00 p.m. (EST) on an extensive syndicated network (visit
graveline.com for a listing of stations). Millions of listeners
worldwide will get a first hand introduction of SRS Labs' audio technologies
and how they are being used to enhance home theater systems by the world's
leading manufacturers.
Into Tomorrow deals with the latest technology and acts as a forum for
discerning consumers to obtain information. The February 8th edition on home
theater will provide listeners with the knowledge they need to shop or build a
home theater system, or improve an existing one. It will also demystify what
home theater really is and what consumers need to know before jumping into the
market to buy. Other guests scheduled include representatives from
electronics manufacturers' Yamaha, Philips Electronics and Niles Audio.
Into Tomorrow is highly interactive, with listeners encouraged to
participate on the program via electronic mail at live@graveline.com, or call
the toll-free open phone lines in advance of the show to submit a question for
discussion or live during the broadcast at 1-800-899-INTO (4686).
Sedmak and Drescher will add a valuable element to the show's program
drawing on their knowledge gained from SRS Labs' status as a leading, audio
technology provider to many of the world's leading home theater manufacturers,
including Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer, RCA, Sharp and Hitachi. Over 115
manufacturers worldwide have become customers of SRS Labs and include either
the SRS(R) 3D Sound technology or the company's new multi-channel virtual
audio, TruSurround(TM), in a variety of consumer electronics products.
Whether a consumer has a full home theater system with multiple speakers or is
looking for an alternative to purchasing surround sound speakers, SRS Labs'
audio technologies provide a depth of realism and excitement to the home
theater experience that is not available with a standard home theater setup.
"Jennifer and I are really looking forward to being guests on this
program," states Steve Sedmak. "There is a lot of mystery surrounding home
theater and a live radio show such as Into Tomorrow is a perfect forum for
educating a mass audience of consumers. The interactivity of a live program
is also very exciting. We look forward to participating and encourage
everyone to both listen in and call the show with any questions or comments."
