Ann, I didn't think it was "picking on", rather just kidding around, like Sonny likes to do. Some of the other threads I participate in are in the large part so deadly serious, and people get so hostile that you'd think that if they ever ran into each other at a convention requiring nametags they'd come to blows or something. OTOH, this thread is cool/mellow, while still being informative. BTW, I will continue with the other threads because they too can be very informative.

On todays's pullback in Intel after hitting 90 something, we still had an intraday higher high, and, I think, higher low than yesterday or for a previous quite a few days. And, for heaven's sake, profit taking was bound to show up eventually. The number one guru on the main Intel thread is looking for a sensational 2H98 for Intel, not so much in terms of stock price, because he doesn't predict that, but in terms of sensational products acceptance and sales. I agree, and the stock price will follow (actually sooner since Wall Street looks out six months or so).

You have a great day, too.

Tony

Hi Ann, well, you have a little bit for everyone here. First of all about living with our spelling mistakes. We don't have to do this anymore. gg. Haven't you seen that spell checker? All the spelling mistakes show up in red. Names and shortcuts too. I would be somehow ok if it was not for the last 2 things.

Never thought of Yaacov in that "gondola" (cable car). I will have to check and see when he posted last.

Now, I thought we kind of agreed never to mention that certain stock again. You made it go down today. gg.

The market was up great today. Then it kind of plunged. I thought it was this Msft stuff but then I heard it was the Mr. Clinton saga that worried traders on the floor. When it came out that there was supposedly an immunity deal struck with Monica the bond market, already weak, had a heart attack.

But I think we will be alright in the coming days. Ralph Acamporo is still bullish and likes the Semis.

Ok, I am off to dinner and will probably not be on again 'til late tonight. Just as well. It took me forever to get to the posts and then go to reply. SI is extremely slow for me.

Talk to ya later.

Sonny

The ya is probably going to show up in red. gg. And now this post is not going. Sheesh. It's 6:35 and I am still sitting on it. I can probably write another whole post while I am waiting. gg.

Ann-Re: Yaacov-I recall seeing a post from him recently that he favors the golf courses and stays off of the ski slopes.

Hi Ann. Yaacov. I thought I let you know that Yaacov is well and kicking on the Cisco thread.

Message 3339905

Wow, Yaacov must love that spell checker. He is going to be fluent in English in no time. Look at this: Italien and English. gg.

Message 3331719

Tony is right. Yaacov is a golfer and probably prefers to walk in the snow. gg.
