Ralph, On a previous post, you wrote--- <<<There is ONLY 2.3 MILLION shares in the float. How in the world can a stock trade over 1 Million shares in only three trading days (Friday, Monday,Tuesday). The stock never had support, and 10,000 shares would cause the stock to drop 1/2 - 3/4 of a point. Now I see blocks of 200,000 and 50,000 trading. What's happening? If their shorting the stock, then their position increased from about 251,000 shares short to approximately 750,000 or higher in the last three days. Does any one have any idea what's happening here. 2.3 Million shares is like counting how many coins I have in my piggy bank. It shouldn't be hard to find out who owns the majority of this stock. I have a list of Institutions and Funds, but the last update was 9/30/97. That list totalled approximately 950,000. High volume is good, but this stock usually moves up or down on high volume. I would have never guessed that this stock would basically close unchanged with 657,000 shares traded. If news is coming, then people must know. I think this could be good, but I am somewhat confused. The warrant seems to be the buy at $3 1/8 - $3 3/8. HELP. >>> What the hell was that all about, then? I provided important information and you come up with <<""We have to be careful. This is not an official news site for Newcom. Newcom will release news when the timing is best for the stock. This thread and other threads should share GENERIC conversations, not specific news items. Your broker MAY know something, and MAY NOT. He/she may only have half the facts, and since you were "too giddy to pay attention", then I would rather wait for the official press release. "">> That's the response? Alright, don't add to your holding and wait for the official press release. Give me a break. SI is for sharing information. To heck with generic conversation. Hell, I can go to the bar for that. I was not trying to generate a rumor, for chrissakes!!! I said you were welcome to call my broker. I trust his ethics wholeheartedly. Maybe you don't trust your broker, that's your problem, not mine. I was only sharing information to fellow members of SI. At least it wasn't the usual useless bullsh%t banter. Good gosh, take it for what it is, some good information. My broker wasn't giving me any insider information that your broker can't find out.If you ever to come across information like what I just provided, then I certainly would appreciate you sharing it with us, otherwise, hit the door and don't post mike
