A good story. "Book burning" could take on a whole new meaning if global cooling unexpectedly made an appearance.

The UK did provide it's own energy sources once upon a time, and even designed and manufactured it's own nuclear stuff. But then we had the Tories come in about 1980 who decided that we don't need energy generation or manufacturing jobs, and we just needed the Financial services of the City of London. And some plebs running the service industries. Youngsters with double barrelled names could get jobs at the National Trust and over charge tourists while they find "proper jobs" after University.

It would be nice if Crypto dispensed with the City of London. That is a pleasant thought to keep ones spirit warm while mayhem reigns in the UK. Best let the mayhem reign for a while too until common sense returns and the idiots either go away or die off. I don't care which.

I have a gas account, but the electricity is private and hydro. I am not stuck if the gas runs out. Once the rain keeps coming there is no problem really. My brother, a city dude who is into all the global group think climate fashion, thought it so wonderful that we have hydro here and I could get an electric car. NFW. Just looking how any slight accident, or short circuit, turns those things into explosive roman candle fireworks. No way will I be buying any EV until they become less of an instant fire hazard. I will take my chances with the more established risks of petrol (gasoline). During the recent petrol shortages, while fights broke out on the pump forecourts in London, not one of the local suppliers here ran out. I might get an electric bike if times turn really tough, one with about a 50 mile range would do it, and a copious luggage rack.

I think a lot of what we see and hear is staged false flag horse chit. Let them get on with it... I dont give a crap about any of it. We have forests, food, and horse drawn ploughs at the ready if necessary. Fuk em. Really, and their experimental jabs.

I like the "wattsupwiththat" site. One of my favs.

Noting the resilience in Casper in recent weeks while I was waiting for it to crash. My biggest position is in Casper, but I will double up, or triple up, in cryptos should things get out of hand. MINA remains too expensive to buy more, and likewise will multiply up should an opportunity arise.

Pumps filling up again but London’s fuel levels are HALF of Scotland’s | Evening Standard

Happily, I can continue with my "nutjob conspiracy theorist " isolationist life, and not really worry about anything. -g-

"Proceed With Caution At Your Own Peril" - Merck's COVID 'Super Drug' Poses Serious Health Risks, Scientists Warn

"As it turns out, all the scientists and doctors who insisted that Merck's "revolutionary" COVID drug molnupiravir is extremely safe weren't faithfully adhering to "the science" after all. Because according to a report published Thursday by Barron's, some scientists are worried that the drug - which purportedly cut hospitalizations in half during a study that was cut short - could cause cancer or birth defects.

So much for having a "strong safety profile," as Dr. Scott Gottlieb claimed
in an interview on the day Merck first publicized the research."
