We all know that, but it is a chance we have to take.
No, we don't.

The man is soo corrupt and stupid.
He is definitely not stupid. If he really is "soo corrupt", he would have become a Republican by now. His life would be much easier.

We may have to wait to win the senate in 2022.
If the progressives weren't so politically stupid, they would have already cut the number of years to cut the total cost to "just" $1.9t, and gotten the programs started or at least planned so that they would be up and running by the summertime and people would see that they make a difference in their lives. That is how, at the end of the day, the ACA became popular--only after it got started and people saw the reality as opposed to the lies that the Rs had been telling people.

People will blame the Republicans if they kill everything.
We saw that in Georgia.

We saw the Stacy Abrams effect in Georgia on their very large African American population. Unfortunately, we can't clone her and put the clones in every state with large AA populations. If they don't see real life advantages from the programs, they won't support them. As you have pointed out many times, people for the most part aren't good at abstract thinking. They have to see it concretely in front of them or it won't exist and the Rs will be able to demagogue it to death.
