I don't have a problem with hearings. That's one of the roles of government. But you have to admit republicans didn't do this to Bush after 9/11 or after he lied about WMDs, and never did it to Reagan or Trump. They know how the game is played. Don't give the other side knives to stick in our backs. The thrust of the hearings was completely wrong. Every Dem should have asked why Gen. Milley wasn't ready to leave when he knew months in advance. Every Dem shouldn't have asked what his opinion was. His opinion is irrelevant. They did this on purpose Biden's numbers were going up just as I predicted in my discussions with koan and then she did this to him. YouGov put in at 50%, one other had him above 50% and this after he got out of Afghanistan. He's numbers on Covid are in the hole now too even though things improved a lot. His numbers are -6.9% (average) now. Two polls put him down 13 and 16%. This was planned and it done well. Pelosi goes on another vacation and nothing gets done.
