But one need only look at recent actions of Merrick Garland to see where the Constitution IS is being trashed in some places. I'll say up front I know zilch about immigration law, but I cannot imagine how it allows a president to just open the borders unrestricted as Biden has done. There just HAS to be some trashing going on there. OTOH, his blunder in Afghanistan and Covid policy may be uncharted territory. Some stuff -- like the pipeline -- dates back to Obama where he just sort of seized power. Hopefully, Trump will be re-elected with a strong majority so he can fix some of these problems and get us back on course. It isn't so much about fairness, IMO, as it is what the rules were historically.

I seem to recall Biden refusing to accept a decision by the Supreme Court on the rent moratorium. Do you seriously believe that was anything but a strike at the heart of the Constitution? How can you not be concerned that future presidents will simply do the same? You would have had paroxysms if Trump did anything remotely like that and would have without any doubt called it a constitutional crisis. So would the liberal media. We would be having hearings sponsored by Pelosi TODAY if Trump had done this. Liz Cheney would be having a cow.
