You're just the one to lecture us on logic, Reggie. You of course being expert in that elementary logical fallacy, the ad hominem attack. We all understand what's going on. Microsoft's business model is just fine. The problem is that it overrides all technical considerations. Which do you think comes first? Rhetorical question, that.

And, while you're at it, how about those falling software prices? $35 for Windows95 at the launch, $60-70 today? Just inflation, I guess. Or is the price of "free" IE in there? Enquiring minds want to know! Non-rhetorical on that one, not that I expect an answer.

Cheers, Dan.

Reg -

Listen to yourself Justin. MSFT tech business model is silly, etc. yet you complain that they are taking over. There must be something wrong with your logic.

Read what I said again, Reg. I said that their design model is silly, not that their business model is. They used a stupid design for their application/OS integration, and then said that it would be too hard to 'unintegrate' it. That's a result of the design process.
