I think you misunderstood me.

I was not trying to convince you that GMD is a sound speculative stock or that its success is assured.

Rather, in trying to stress that promotion plays a big part in helping a stock along, I mentioned the other 5 P's that have to be considered in evaluating the potential of ANY stock! Of course, the evaluation is left to readers like you.

From my standpoint, the period of promotion for GMD is over, and the time has come to get down to the nitty and gritty of development which should be aptly handled by real mining people like Dr. Webb and Gerry Hess. I was given to understand that GMD has been looking for more qualified personnel for some time before the trading halt.

I believe the gold is there. The Northern Miner thinks so too. It seems that the VSE is quite satisfied that the gold is there. But I agree that there are disturbing elements about the whole damned thing when the reserve calculations were not released on time. The excuse given at the time was that the 'good' news would be wasted in a down market and that it would be more appropriate to wait till the pog rises. Also, GMD has informed me recently they were on the point of releasing the gold reserves calculations when the trading halt was imposed. What is not good is that the trading halt, if it continues for much longer, will delay the planned drilling on the 'diamond' property.

You are right in assuming that, in the next little while, a lot is left to be desired for GMD. But there have been instances where stocks
registered spectacular recoveries once the trading halt was lifted. In the meantime, we can only hope for the best. And deep down within me, I believe GMD will emerge strongly, say, by the end of the year.
