True. This looks like the answer to the question of whether FDA would expand label based on previous household contacts data. It appears not and that FDA is requiring this type of trial to approve a product for pre-exposure prophylaxis. At least this means the competitor's "Long Acting" product will have to prove itself in a trial and not just be assumed to work longer. But I wonder why REGN is not trying a half-life extended version for this application.
