I wish you were right, but I expect major carnage tomorrow. I'm long 1,400 shares. This is the news many people have been expecting for months, and that's why it got down to the 45 range twice. I'm afraid it's heading back tomorrow. I only wish I could buy more.

Ibexx,

The Asian flu is turning into double pneumonia.

If there is an over reaction, QCOM may actually be a great buy a couple of months from now. The analysts drilled QCOM on Korea over and over during the conference call last month. I think QCOM was truthful at the time but certainly has concerns that this may happen. With an estimated 20% unemployment, the consumer sentiments cannot be very positive. It is unlikely that the average Korea would like to run out and buy a Q phone, using the badly beaten down Korean Won.

Just imagine if Korea is cancelling orders on a strong money making sector, how deep rooted may the problems be. Are they cancelling because of lack of demand or lack of credit to finance the orders? Probably a little of both. Wonder which semi or semi equipment company is going to be hit next? Time for some shorts?

Ramsey (still hoping I won't look like an idiot with cash on sidelines)

Ibexx, I hope your right but your not! QCOM expects around 23 cents for Q2. Lets just say 25 x 4 = $1.00 for the year ( I know thats low ), at $40.00 it will have a PE of 40. I expect it to open in the low 40's tomorrow and then over the next month or two drift down too the high 20's low 30's. Who knows maybe we'll see mid to low 30's tomorrow.

I just cant believe that they warned so early in the Q and so soon after their last CC. Looking to buy some puts to get some of my money back! QCOM SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
