True at this juncture, but at cusp of huge change, because God ratio (a China term) shall soon be reached and when so, the cost of distributed solar energy in higher latitudes shall be less than the cost of transmission of thermal electric energy, am told. I might have misunderstood the message. It sounded very positive, the message.

In any case, 2023 is the target year when solar energy in China shall be cheaper than thermal coal energy.

2023 is just around the corner.
