Bill,

Re. I HAD to smoke you out ..

Sounds positively scandalous to me.

Re. What do you think about the markets...

Market will be selective consolidating or advancing.

* High tech generals: brief pause (option expiry play) and then resume their upward climb--INTC, MSFT, AMAT, etc

* Energy: riding on IRAQ crisis, synthetic or real; intermediate term cloudy but long term bullish.

* Big pharma (not to be confused with Big Mama as one poster on this bb calls her/himself): short term consolidation, but resume bullish climb as we proceed into 2nd half of 98--the old defensive play.

* Financials: highly volatile--the dare devils' game.

* Small caps: don't touch them--risks outweighing benefits in the present market climate. Not worth the pennies you might scalp from trading.

Just my bias as usual.

Regards,
Ibexx
