James,
I'm glad to see that I misunderstood and that you believe abortion is wrong. The next step is to stop it. Of course the government has further entrenched itself in favor of abortion with general Reno making it a federal offense to protest abortion not in accordance with government guidelines, ie. must be so many feet away from clinic, can't talk to any woman going into clinics, etc. Government used to be in favor of moral laws and there is nothing wrong with that. The restriction on government is that they should not dictate a state religion or interfere with anyones freedom to exercise their own religion. As far as dictating basic morality through law that is it's job. Such as catching murderers, thieves, rapists, robbers, people who commit violent crimes. The laws against these things are all moral laws, it would be immoral not to prosecute them. But the gov. has turned a blind eye to the unborn and refused to protect them from the immoral decision by many to kill them. It's the gov's job to protect us and it has failed there.
