One this Jessie forgot about in that piece, re: Oracle.... ORCL hasn't been much of an enterprise applications company, either. SAP and PeopleSoft are cleaning house in that space, and from ORCL's perspective, it's really, really ugly. Let's take everyone's quarterly reports, for instace. In Enterprise applications, SAP grew 62%, PeopleSoft grew 76%, and bringing up the rear, ORCL posted stunning enterprise application growth of a whopping 2%!
