Japan LDP delegation to visit Asian nations Sunday TOKYO, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will send a delegation to Southeast Asian nations on Sunday for a one-week visit, officials said on Friday. Former foreign minister Taro Nakayama and other LDP members plan to meet political leaders in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong, an official at Nakayama's office said. An LDP spokesman declined to confirm the visit. The delegation is expected to meet political leaders in the host nations and exchange views on the regional financial crisis to enable the LDP to come up with a proposal to stabilise the region's economy, Japan's financial daily Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported on Friday.
