Dear Sister Jane: The Lord has a way of showing us how far He has brought us all. Like one man told me , I'm not what I should be , and I'm not what I'm going to be but thank God I'm not what I used to be. Anything that reminds us of our past is good in that it can be a reality check, but we press on to our high calling in Christ Jesus. Gregor, I so appreciate a place to pray, as we can on all the God threads, but moreso here. As for those who come here and are a part of this place, I too pray for the Blood of Jesus to be poured down on all our lives as things shift and turn once again. There is no sure bet out there anymore, Gregor, and anyone counting on it will be surprised, I'm sure, and perhaps not always happily. As for me I am quite sure it is time to pray earnestly to be found accounted worthy at all times, per my favorite scripture these days. I feel like we should continue to pray for those we are not that fond of for various reasons, but are obviously people who need to be prayed for again and again. Perhaps we should ask the Lord to trouble the waters in their behalf, and cause things loosed in Heaven to work for their salvation. I think with some people the Lord needs to put His whole arm in the water and swirl it all around. Father God, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, we pray for those who resist the Holy Spirit, and continue to lift them to you. Lord Jesus, you know who they are, and we ask that all things be loosed in Heaven to bring those who do not know you into a knowledge of Holy Spirit, and to come to know the source of all peace, and love and joy. I also ask that we all be highly sensitive to everything that comes into our lives and test to see whether they be of God until things quit once again changing and restructuring all around us. Gregor, it sounds silly, but there is a group in Montana that seem to be suffering a lot of emotional sorrow over the buffalo. The buffalo are very magical animals, and I believe that God Himself causes us to love this animal above many others, and for no real reason except that we tend to love buffalo. So, I pray for the little group that has started Buffalo Nation, that in all things they will see Jesus Christ no matter what they are looking for right now. And also for the Earth First crowd in Northern California. Their younger college age hippy leaders used to frequent our Sunday feast things we did last year, and I have spent time with them and prayed with them, and they are all going slightly nuts coping with the death of so much of the creation and sorting out the politics the devil is using them for. They are starting more and more to do dangerous things which put themselves in harms way, and it will only get worse. I just feel like putting these gentle creatures in our prayers. One day about a hundred of them marched out of Eureka to walk to San Francisco, which they did, and even though it was basically a pagan festival of the mother goddess, as far as some of the older leaders were concerned, most everyone solemnly prayed for God the Creator and His Son Jesus Christ to be with them and bless their journey. Half of them didn't have money for food, or adequate clothes, and it reminded me of a ragged medieval Crusade of 20 year olds. They were trying to save some gorgeous old, old trees where a lot of animals live. And of course they were being used. I haven't seen them since. For some reason all these creation lovers are on my mind, and I think it is all going to almost kill them before its over. There is a level of emotional devastation there that other people just don't understand, but it's there.
