Dave, its interesting to speculate on, but not very likely in normal circumstances (IMHO). There is a terrific amount of redundancy in both the voice and data networks. The Internet after all was designed to keep working even if large chunks of it were taken out in a nuclear war. Re: your comments on deliberate confusion.You may be right though I think it doesn't have to be orchestrated. There are enough things screwy that I think just sticking trying to add up the facts is mind-boggling enough. Of course the folks in power use that to their advantage in keeping us off balance in terms of what they are going to do. I think the day may very well come that people will realise that they are totally confused as well and will then start to follow a strategy in direct opposite of where they would like us to go. Then Gold will definitely be an interesting play. Regards Michael
