Even if Apple does a little better than expected, critics cannot claim the improvement is due to Apple diehards because the diehards would of spent themselves during the 1st quarter. If the improvement is much better than the 1st quarter, one can attribute it to improved base and further belt-tightening. It's the improved base that everyone is looking for. I hope it works out.

The article in the New York Times yesterday about style of the Mac and closeness of the 20th Anniversary Mac designer to Steve Jobs, plus some futuristic designs, was very interesting in its implications. This differentiation should be promoted big time and not ignored as in the past years:
